Movie plot :
The story start with Hussin who just came back from Singapore after 2 years working there searching for experience. Came back to his hometown in Kampung Pisang to change the mindset of the villagers that still at the old mindset. In the story, Hussin are neighbour to Kak Limah who live next to his house. There are many speculation from the villagers that told Kak Limah is already dead until Hussin and the villagers go straight to Kak Limah's house to investigate whether she still alive or no. This because, every night, lot of villagers were disturbed by what they call as the Ghost of Kak Limah. When they go to Kak Limah's house, they found that there were a decomposed body inside that house. From there, the villager make a speculation that, Kak Limah is already dead and her ghost are disturbing the village. The village did not sit still, they tried to find a solution how to expel the Ghost of Kak Limah from Kampung Pisang. From Indonesian Shaman to Siamese Shaman, there is still no solution to this problem.
Movie from the aspect of Social
As we can see from this movie, the majority of the people is malay people who might be working in town or doing some agricultural activity. Example is like Husin, who work outside from the range of his country. By doing this, it can affect the socializing in the village, and might be influencing a young generation in the village to follow him working outside the area. Example of people in the movie is, Musalman, son of Kak Limah who work under Rosyam Nor's company. Husin maybe the influencer for Musalman to work outside from the area. Another aspect among the villager is, when there's any problem, they will gather in Balai Raya to discuss about the problems. Example is when the problems about Ghost of Kak Limah become more serious, all the villager gather in the Balai Raya to discuss about that matter, and they think, by burning the Kak Limah's house will settled this problems. The village leader, Pak Abu is the one who speak about the problem and ask the opinion from each of the village on how to settled the problems. Another social aspect in the movie is, the relationship between Husin and Cik Nin. 2 years before, Husin eager to go to town to find a better work, earn some money to back and married Cik Nin. However, all that Husin seen is only the ghost of Cik Nin. This show how Husin trying to go further in relationship with Cik Nin in the aspect of social.
Movie from the aspect of economy
From the aspect of economy, at the starting of movie, we know that Husin just come back from Singapore as he is working there. When he working there, by any conditions, the salary that he obtain there, he will transfer it to Malaysia. Another economy aspect is the agricultural activity that been done by the villagers in the movie. We can see in the movie, they are raising the paddy field to obtain the rice. That was the one of economy aspect that i can see from the movie. By doing this agricultural activity, then can get paid as after the paddy we're being process to rice. Another economy aspect i can see from this movie is, the villagers are opening a food stall for the villagers or any visitors to the village. The stall were open from morning to night. Its the place where villagers gather to eat or drink instead of discussing about anything. The used of shaman also is the one that contributed to economy aspect, where the villagers are using foreign shaman from indonesian and siamese.
Movie from the aspect of political
From the aspect of political, there are not many I can see from this movie. One of the scene that showing the political aspect is when Pak Jabit were always speaking on microphone instead of Pak Abu who is the head of the village. This mean Pak Jabit was always wanted to be the head of villagers. Some of the scene shown in this movie, if we watch it carefully, there are certain part that when Husin where talking about a “Ghost” that always teaching us how to manage our country. I can see that Husin were showing at our neighbor country.
